The hardest part about writing content is documenting everything you have been doing. If you followed the last two posts we are building an eCommerce Store. I do have some future posts about some tips and tricks, but that’s for another post.
The store launched 7 days ago! Wow I still have some items to iron out, but overall I can have a customer go to the website and place an order and I can send them that order.
The first few days where a bust, I promoted the store on some social media channels and was getting great organic traffic, but no sales. Day three happens and it was a rush of orders, by rush I mean three! Which hey it’s better than none. I was so excited for the orders and I fulfilled them in minutes and then it was back to waiting and posting and waiting. Then I got four orders! Wow this might actually work.
I don’t have the exact numbers, but we are looking at just over $100 in revenue in about four days. I think it’s a win. The sales have since dropped, but I also haven’t had the time to push orders on social media organically. The next step would be look at placing a few ads for a couple of dollars to see if I can get more of a reach. I am also creating more products daily, which I have to design and then create the product and figure out the logistics. Next few days I will be working on that and just continue to push customers to the store and hopefully make a sale.
I still haven’t designed a logo for the eCommerce Store or figure out many other things, but I do know that with time and effort it should work. Fingers crossed!
